Dear Mother is an intimate documentary that moves through house music, Black queer culture and family legacies with rare tenderness and candour.
KIKI — Sara Jordenö (90min – Original version with French subtitles)
Twenty-five years after Paris is Burning, Sara Jordenö co-directs with Twiggy Pucci Garçon an inside view of New York’s kiki scene, carried by a new generation of young racialised LTBGQIA+ people. Between balls, activist workshops and personal trajectories, the film documents a community inventing its own spaces of survival and celebration. Teddy Award, Berlinale 2016.
