Dans sa nouvelle cr\u00e9ation, Iffra Dia questionne l\u2019h\u00e9ritage inscrit dans chacun des danseurs au plateau, qu\u2019il soit, comme lui, pionnier du hip hop hexagonal ou bien issu de la derni\u00e8re g\u00e9n\u00e9ration.<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n

Ensemble, ils explorent leur style de pr\u00e9dilection, le break, cassant les codes du Top Rock et de la danse au sol avec virtuosit\u00e9 et cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

Se situant entre le travail de m\u00e9moire et la tradition de la transmission de pair \u00e0 pair,\u202f<\/span>Hexagonal<\/span><\/i>\u202foffre \u00e0 ses interpr\u00e8tes un cadre ouvert afin d\u2019explorer les techniques et les emprunts aux diff\u00e9rentes formes artistiques qui ont nourri leurs langages chor\u00e9graphiques. <\/span><\/p>\n

Port\u00e9s par une partition originale d\u2019Aho Ssan, Iffra Dia et ses danseurs c\u00e9l\u00e8brent un monde commun \u00e0 travers cette nouvelle cr\u00e9ation.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Iffra Dia<\/strong><\/p>

Aux pr\u00e9mices du\u202f<\/span>breakdance<\/span><\/i>\u202fen Europe, Iffra Dia, int\u00e8gre Black-Blanc-Beur, la premi\u00e8re compagnie de danse hip hop professionnelle fran\u00e7aise. Il participe \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9mergence du\u202f<\/span>b-boying<\/span><\/i>\u202fet \u00e0 la construction de sa l\u00e9gitimit\u00e9 sur sc\u00e8ne, tout en affirmant une vision de la danse sans contrainte, \u00e9voluant de mani\u00e8re empirique au contact du jazz, des danses debout, puis du langage contemporain.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Plus de trente ans apr\u00e8s ses premiers passages au sol, Iffra Dia conduit un triptyque chor\u00e9graphique,\u202f<\/span>Hors jeux\u202f!<\/span><\/i>\u202f(2011),\u202f<\/span>Issue de secours<\/span><\/i>\u202f(2013) et\u202f<\/span>3.0 \u202f<\/span><\/i>(2017), mettant en mouvement la qu\u00eate d\u2019identit\u00e9, individuelle et collective, comme un moyen de se d\u00e9faire du d\u00e9racinement et de lutter contre le repli sur soi.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

En 2019, il signe\u202f<\/span>Passacaille<\/span><\/i>, avec le violoniste Fabien Boudot, un duo \u00e0 la crois\u00e9e du baroque et du hip hop. Dans la continuit\u00e9 de la conf\u00e9rence-performance\u202f<\/span>From Scratch<\/span><\/i>\u202f(2019), le projet participatif\u202f<\/span>Post Danse<\/span><\/i>\u202f(2021), propose d\u2019interroger le rapport entre tradition et pr\u00e9sent, en abordant cette fois, l\u2019impact de la culture num\u00e9rique dans le geste dans\u00e9.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Avec\u202f<\/span>Hexagonal<\/span><\/i>, Iffra Dia met en lumi\u00e8re l\u2019h\u00e9ritage du\u202f<\/span>bboying <\/span><\/i>\u202fet du\u202f<\/span>top rock<\/span><\/i>\u202fen cr\u00e9ant un pont g\u00e9n\u00e9rationnel entre quatre interpr\u00e8tes fran\u00e7ais, porteurs d\u2019histoires et de m\u00e9moires qui sont tout autant de fragments chor\u00e9graphiques \u00e0 mettre en commun et \u00e0 transmettre.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>
