With Dans mon dessin, Jenny Victoire Charreton questions her gender transition as a departure with no return. Alone on stage, she weaves together poetic writing, electronic music, drawing, digital puppetry and testimonies.
Inhabited by the words of poet Luz Volckmann, the piece paints, with modesty, naivety and gravity, the intimate portrait of a trans woman struggling to speak: her fears, her joys, her anger, the memory of murdered and suicided peers, to whom it is dedicated.
