Invisibilia (for piano) is part of a research into incomplete musical forms, as they appear in unstable states of memory, notably in Mackenzy Bergile’s sleep. Fragments emerge, discontinuous, fragile, then withdraw, leaving on waking only traces to be picked up again. In this piano work, Mackenzy Bergile seeks to inhabit these dreamed remains and, in contact with these presences and dreamlike legacies, builds a blossoming of incomplete notes sketching a sound landscape in the making, always on the verge of disappearing.
